oediv ("we", "our", or "the app") is a self-hosted video streaming application for Android TV. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our application.
oediv collects minimal information necessary to provide the streaming service:
All data is stored on the self-hosted server configured by the server administrator. Video content is encrypted at rest using AES-256-CBC encryption. Device tokens and sensitive data on the TV device are stored using Android's EncryptedSharedPreferences, and the local database is encrypted with SQLCipher.
We take data security seriously:
Device registration data and watch progress are retained on the server as long as the device is active. The server administrator can remove device data and associated records at any time through the admin panel.
oediv does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app does not require any personal information to operate. Content access can be restricted by the server administrator using PIN-protected categories.
